Services of Fire Department are paid or not?

Putting out and rescue services (during disasters, fires and accidents) are free of charge. In external conditions; Watering, water evacuation, ladder and escort services are fee. These fees are determined by the municipal council each year.

Do the fire stations response to the animal cases that do not require emergency and rescue?
Fire Brigade carries out the services of rescuing animals which are confined and restricted from movement. Fire department does not response animal cases that animals are in safe and healthy in its own habitat.
How to apply for training and practice services?
Training and practice services are carried out by Education and Training Unit. Applications can be made via   e-mail (itfaiyeegitim@izmir.bel.tr), fax ( +902322938958) and "APPLICATIONS FOR TRAINING REQUESTS" part of the web page.
Does the fire depatment make sweeping the chimney, cleaning canal and manhole?
Sweeping the chimneys are made by Authorized Companies. Cleaning canals and manholes are made by IZSU (Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Water Services Unit). You can access Authorized Companies through OUR SERVICES part of web page.
Is there any sanction by the fire department for people who burn garbage?
Fire Department have no statutory authority for people who burn grass, garbage, controlled fire. You can report such complaints to the municipal police unit of relevant district municipality.
Does the fire department have door opening service? If so, are they paid?

In case of emergency, it is free of charge. Except in emergencies; it's not possible.

Can we visit the fire department?
You can visit individually any time you want. For collective visits, by fax (+90 232 293 88 27), telephone (+90 232 293 88 00), e-mail (itfaiye@izmir.bel.tr ), or written application, you can visit any of our 50 fire stations in Izmir.
Does the fire department water sunction? If so, is it paid and in what conditions and circumstances?
Water suction services of the fire department are free of charge in flood disaster (rainwater), but in floods outside the disaster (water systems malfunction), it is paid. The water can not be drained when the height of the water is lower than a certain height.
My home/office burned down, when and how can I get its report?

The procedure is as follows:
First, the team responding to the incident prepares the report and submits it for approval electronically. As a result of the approval of the Shift Chief, the Regional
Chief and the Manager with electronic signature, the report gains the status of an official document. If you have given your personal information and GSM number correctly to the team that prepared the report; You will receive an SMS containing a barcode number indicating that your report is ready and that you can get it from Izmir Metropolitan Municipality "e-işlem" menus. In this way, you can get your report as online from the internet.
Therefore; Please inform the personnel in full if you have suffered material damage or been injured during the incident (name and surname, date of birth, TR ID number, GSM number, vehicle plate, address, workplace name, company information, etc.).


NOTE:All fire brigades within the boundaries of Izmir Province are affiliated to the Fire Department of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality.
 

How can I get the report of the fire, emergency rescue and fire brigade service?
The preparation period of the Fire, Rescue and Fire Service Reports is 5 working days. The fire station performing the task within 5 working days after the incident or service occurred, writes, prepares and signs the report. The report prepared with signature is taken from the fire station where the team works on the same day or within the next 2 days by the staff in charge and brought to the Fire Department Headquarters Building in Konak Yenisehir. Here, it is approved by the relevant managerial authority as a result of the examination and approval of the superior superiors related to the sequence. The report, which gains official document status after the signature of the director, is delivered to the Report and Statistics unit. The report filed by the officials here becomes ready for delivery.

In this process the citizens are 0 232 293 88 18 for the Central Region, 0 232 293 89 52 for the North Region (Aliağa and its surroundings), 0 232 293 34 39 for the South Region (Torbalı and its surroundings), 0 232 for the West Region (Urla and its surroundings) 293 92 24 
By calling or by going to the fire station closest to them, they can find out whether their reports have been issued or they can get help to find out.

For those whose report is not ready; by saying the report number, it is informed that he / she should receive information in the following hours or days with that number.
If the report is ready, the report number is given and the photocopy of the report is enough, they can receive the closest fire brigade group, the same as the original stamp and if they need official sealed, they can come to the Fire Department Headquarters Service Building at Gaziler Caddesi No: 185 Yenisehir Konak.

The reports are only delivered to the citizens who are named in them and those who prove that they are resident or workplace at the incident address.
