TRAINING CENTER OF FIRE RESCUE AND NATIONAL DISASTER

Fire Department Training Center, which has a respectable place in Turkey, is a complete training center with modern classes, sports complex and various training stations.
Trainings of Fire, Search&Rescue in Wreckage, Rescue in traffic accidents, First Aid, Chemical Matter Hazards, Response to the Chemical Fires are carried out. Studies and trainings on developing Basic Disaster Consciousness are carried out. It is based on an area of 73.000 m2 in the Buca-Toros region. It is opened to service in 13.09.2004.
 

TO SUPPORT THEORETICAL TRAININGS IN PRACTICES, TRAINING STATIONS BUILT FOR EVERY SUBJECT;

TRAINING STATION FOR INTERVENTION TO BUILDING FIRES

The Fire House, which is 3 floors, is used as a multipurpose fire training station. LPG is used as a flammable substance. The created fire can be intervened both internally and externally. In addition, with the computer system from outside, various scenarios can be created in the fire house and the fire fighting teams can intervene according to this situation.

In the multipurpose fire house;
a-There is a labyrinth. In it, search&rescue training, evacuation training, orientation training, Using Self-contained breathing device are carried out in practice.
b-Flashover fire trainings can be carried out in practice.
c-There is a unit that simulates how the fire grew in the wake of oil splashes due to wrong intervention.
d-There is a unit, for fire training in a closed garage, LPG cylinder fire training, Electric transformer fire training.
It is equipped with a safety system against possible dangers. This system is disabled when the "Emergency" Buttons are pressed from inside and outside.

EARTHQUAKE SIMULATOR

Basic Disaster Consciousness Education is provided in earthquake simulator. Precautions before the earthquake, behaviours during the the earthquake, post-earthquake behaviours are taught.

Our earthquake simulation house is equipped with modern technology (computer system, projector etc.). In earthquake simulation house, artificial earthquake can be carried out in three phases. In earthquake simulation house, after theoretical education; behaviours before earthquake, where and how the protection position will be taken, behaviours after earthquake are taught.

NATURAL DISASTER TRAINING STATION

The techniques of locating the survivors who are under the building wreckage and the techniques of removing them underground the wreckage are taught.
There are rubble, blocks and columns on the upper surface of the wreck. There is also a tunnel on the lower surface of the wreck.
The use of acoustic devices, reach the survivors and the implementation of vertical rescue training are carried out. Search camera and search dogs under the wreckage are also used.
How to reach survivors from a sideways building and How to overcome the obstacles in the building are taught.

TRAINING STATION OF INTERVENTION TO INDUSTRIAL FIRES

At this station, there are various training simulator areas.

-Raised pipe poles fire training area
-Split flange fire training area
-In-container, tank/pipe hole fire
-Flange fire training area
-Industrial waste fire
-Barrel shelf enclosures fire
-Gas cylinder fire
-Tank fire
-Tank overflow fire
-Gas station fire

Simulators work with LPG, natural gas and diesel fueled flame generating system. There is a separate control room. System allows the control of fires with wireless control devices. How to intervene in industrial fires, how to interfere with harmful substances such as Heat, Smoke, etc which are caused by fire, are taught by experienced trainers.

TUNNEL FIRE SIMULATORS

How to intervene the fires in the tunnels and how to save lives in highway and subway tunnels are taught practically in this station.

Station is managed from the outside control room and artificial fire is generated in cars inside using LPG. Tunnel Simulator Station that have sound alarm system / light alarm system is fully equipped.
 

DOG TRAINING CENTER

Our search-rescue dogs are trained by our expert dog trainer. Dogs are trained for the purpose of searching for the survivors under wreckage and their locating.

 

RESCUE STATION IN TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS

In this station, the following trainings are given;
-In stucked traffic accident, rescue techniques from all kinds of vehicles
-How to take environmental safety
-In and out of the vehicle, How to intervene to the survivor
-Protection of injury
-Safety of rescue personnel
-What kind of rescue will be.

 

TRAINING STATION OF CLIMBING

In this station, the following trainings are given;
-Rescue training of the injurs who are stucked at the mountain, and in the car rolling down the cliff,
-Rescue training of the injurs who are in places that motor vehicles could not go in,
-Rescue training of the injurs who are in the car rolling down the cliff,
-With High Angle Rescue Technique, injured transport training.
 

PENTATHLON

A good firefighter should have a healthy and dynamic body. For this purpose; in the Penthatlon, 100 metre hurdling racetrack, climbing tower, target board, fire house, sandbox, balance board, 2 meters board barrier and various sports equipment are available.

 

FIRE DISTRICT TRAINING STATION

At this station, there are two single floored buildings and one building of two floored. In this station; Practical trainings of Chimney fires, roof fires and home fires are carried out.

TRAINING STATION OF RESCUE THROUGH WELL

The well is 3 meters in diameter and 8 meters deep. Trainings are carried out to increase practicality of rescue cases through the wells/pits by using developed technological rescue tools.
 

MESS HALL

Its capacity is 60 people. There are three meals in a clean, hygienic environment, serving hot food and cooking.
